In our webinar, we will present an overview of the law for better whistleblower protection. This law represents the national implementation of EU Directive 2019/1937 and imposes the obligation of implementation at national level in Portugal. With the national transposition of the directive, companies, especially legal entities in the public and private sector in Portugal, are now obliged to establish a confidential and secure whistleblowing channel for internal and external users, including employees and business partners. Practical tips on implementation and follow-up will be shared, guiding participants through the challenges of implementing an internal whistleblowing system.
